As my readers know, it is not often I advertise upcoming events on my BLOG. However, at times I do make an exception. Today I bring you an advertisement for the upcoming Basic Income Conference.

I do make an exception for advertising the Basic Income Conference  that happens in Halifax once every year and a half  because these conferences are part of advocating for a solution. Other areas where I make an exception include:
the free summer events which take place, in HRM, during the summer months; and and at Christmas I advertise the Free Christmas Dinners.

I want to give my readers a reminder that if you have an event you want me to advertise on my BLOG, I will look at it. However, for me to agree to advertise, the event has to have a zero, or pay what you can, admission fee. I will not advertise any kind of event, which the people who I advocate for, cannot afford to attend.  Even if the event you are asking me to advertise is free, does not mean I will agree to advertise. In addition to free admission, the event must look like it is safe, stigma free, and of interest to those I advocate for, or who read my blog.
