Readers Of my BLOG:
The Nova Scotia Government has never done this in the past. However there is an event coming up where you, as Nova Scotians, get to make your own Budget.
I have decided to promote this on my BLOG because this is going to be an opportunity for first voice people to speak to Government Officials about what the 2027/2028 Budget should look like and what should be in the budget.
Nova Scotians planning to attend, please think about the Income Assistance rates, and how those rates do not provide enough money for people, forced onto that system, to live on. Also, please think about the need for more affordable housing and the creation of a Basic Guaranteed Income. I am encouraging first voice to complete the online consultation, or attend the event in your area.
