These days Canadians are living in a time of increasing inflation and homelessness. New followers of my blog posts in BC and Ontario who became particularly interested in my blog around C-22, wanted to know why I am positive on Jagmeet Singh. He is the leader of the federal NDP. People I advocate for, living in poverty, here in Nova Scotia, are no strangers to how Canadians can benefit from what Jagmeet Singh stands for, and the policies he and his party proposes.
The party position on grocery store gouging is clear – but so is their leader!
Here is a tweet that demonstrates Jagmeet, leader, is thinking about working class and poor people:
And here is a video where Jagmeet talks about reality

And here is another video where two women talk about their experience living in poverty, with Jagmeet. https://youtu.be/YYlbsgm7a4Y
And for more points from Jagmeet see:
In the meantime here is a post I wrote about what income assistance recipients, right here in Nova Scotia, experienced on last Income Assistance cheque day.
Jagmeet Singh is the only viable party leader in Canada who talks about things like taxing millionaires and billionaires. I personally support Jagmeet, in his mission to make the rich pay their taxes, because, I am a believer in everyone paying their fair share. Jagmeet, and the NDP as a whole, want to boost people out of poverty. I like how Jagmeet thinks about Grocery Store CEO’s who are getting richer and richer off the little guy. This is exactly the effect we are feeling right here in Nova Scotia. When, we hear that welfare rates in other provinces, are no better then our $950.00 standard house hold rate, in N.S. it is concerning to us. Jagmeet is on side from all angles. Jagmeet also whole-heartedly supports improvement in the healthcare system.
I believe if Justin Trudeau has to go, lets give Jagmeet and the NDP a chance at government!
