Natal Day Events and Halifax Busker Fest in Halfiax... and some words of encourgment

 By Kendall Worth!

Readers, we are now approaching the middle of the summer months, here in Halifax. Lets continue to hope that our large community of people, who have mental health issues here in Halifax, many of whom also live in poverty, are taking advantage of what is available, free of charge, in our city.

Attending these free summer events is a great and wonderful thing for maintaining social well-being. There are, however, 2 major issues that the people I advocate for experience which makes people not want to attend such events. In this post, I illustrate how people experience a change in situation at this time of year and it does have affect of them mentally, as well as financially, at this time of year. Additionally, in This Post I talk about some have issues with going out at night, due to concerns about safety. This is especially true, when they attend things like Busker Fest, alone,  because they cannot make arrangements to attend with a group of friends.

Anyway between August 1st and August 4th, Lots of fun will be happening for Natal Day Here is the Link to the Natal Day Schedule.

July 30th till August 4th, Busker Fest will be happening. For more info See Here

Oh and do not forget about the Natal Day Parade taking place on August 4th. See Here for the details.

The reason why I like to encourage people I advocate for, to get out and attend these summer events, is because at this time of year, so much is offered for free. Attending these free events, providing music and entertainment, is good for maintaining mental health.

My encouragement -- So really, whether, we are rich or poor, get out and enjoy what this city has to offer!!
